Splines is a piece-wise polynomial

$$s(x){|}_{{\Omega }_j}=a_j+b_{j}x+c_j{x}^2+d_j{x}^3+\dots$$

where ${\Omega }_j$ is $j$-th domain, every domain has their own function.
