Concept

it’s equivalent to find root with CH5 Newton’s method for $f^{\prime }(x)$.

$$x_{k+1}=x_k-\frac{f^{\prime }(x_k)}{f^{\prime \prime }(x_k)}$$

Cost

It has quadratic convergence rate if the starter guess is good enough.
